Who are we?
Director and Principal
I established TaylorMade Surveys in 2024 after working in the residential property and construction industry for over 30 years. As both a chartered engineer and chartered building surveyor, along with my hands on experience working for building contractors in my early career, I wanted to offer a bespoke service which can not only identify potential property defects, but where practicable, accurately diagnose the possible cause of the defect and suggest recommended repair solutions. TaylorMade Surveys are also happy to help our clients source and if required supervise local qualified tradesmen and reputable contractors to carry out the necessary repairs.

What we do
At TaylorMade Surveys, we specialise in providing RICS Level 2 and 3 home surveys that provide clarity on property condition. Using state of the art equipment we deliver comprehensive and accurate reports that assist clients in making informed decisions about their property investments.
We act as party wall surveyors in compliance with The Party Wall Etc. Act 1996. We can act on behalf of the building owner, and / or the adjoining owner(s), or as the 3rd surveyor, reducing the risk of disputes by preparing and serving valid notices and meeting statutory timescales and avoiding procedural errors that could delay the works or put adjoining properties at risk.
We provide expert new build home inspection and snagging service delivered by industry 'insiders'. We can also assist and advise clients with disputes if they arise, either pre or post purchase.
We can provide expert witness testimony in legal proceedings related to construction and property matters. We have extensive knowledge of the industry and can provide valuable insights and analysis to support your case.
